Dance Floor Dialogues
Co-hosted by FirstWorks and Brown Arts Institute at Brown University
Using dance as a catalyst for conversation between the Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater company members and the local community of movers, host Chip Douglas will facilitate the dialogue on the dance floor with his invited guest artists, who specialize in hip hop, freestyle, ballet, breaking and Afrobeat. Join us and groove to the rhythms of DJ Franchise. And yes, moving makes you hungry, so food will also be provided! Please RSVP using the “Attend” button.
Pre-event:
Special 5:30pm viewing of Carrie Mae Weems: Varying Shades of Brown at the Main Hall and Attanasio Family Promenade of the Lindemann Performing Arts Center. More info.
