Pneuhaus is an interdisciplinary art and design studio that specializes in ephemeral art installations. Their immersive sculptures guide visitors into the universe of their senses. The design process deeply engages the intrinsic qualities of materials to evolve forms that harmoniously express their physical and dynamic nature. Inspired by physics, biology, and craft, their studio’s work incorporates the lessons of nature in both form and function.

“Grove” is an immersive sculpture that stands as a monument to the invisible forces that shape the world around us. Inspired by the subterranean root systems that connect our forests, twenty-three columns of light are channeled into a single branching network and vaulted high into the sky, creating pockets and clearings for people to explore. Held up by only air and fabric, lights gently pulse through the form, distributing colors and entwining visitors throughout its roots.

“The Street Seats” are a group of interactive seating units designed to bring color and play to any area. Each Seat is a simple geometric shape made from one line that turns, twists, and falls over itself. In this way the Seats multifunction as striking sculptural centerpieces, experiential furniture, and movable play objects.​
